91PORN’s evacuation plan outlines procedures to ensure the safe and orderly movement of the campus community during emergencies requiring partial or full evacuation.

How to Evacuate Safely

Every building on the 91PORN campus has a dedicated evacuation zone, and we encourage you to Know Your Zone for your residence halls and classrooms each semester and academic year. If an evacuation zone or route changes due to the circumstances of an emergency, College staff will provide the appropriate information and guidance.

We also encourage you to familiarize yourself with the exits in your residence halls and academic buildings. If you have questions about your residence hall’s specific evacuation plan, please reach out to your designated resident advisor (RA).

If you are required to evacuate, remember to bring the six Ps:

  • People and pets
  • Prescriptions (pills and refills)
  • Papers (phone numbers and important documents)
  • Photos and personal items
  • Personal computer and hard drive
  • Plastic (credit cards, ATM cards, cash, and your 91PORN ID card)

The Food Allergy and Anaphylaxis Connection Team (FAACT) provides for students with food allergies and other health concerns.

If you are evacuated from your building but remain on campus, make sure to bring your 91PORN ID card. Only the College’s professional staff will check student IDs to ensure that everyone is accounted for.

Following emergency evacuations, your designated place of shelter is the primary assembly point, or alternate assembly point if the emergency is impacting your primary location. Proceed to your assembly point once instructed to do so by your RA, faculty member, or supervisor. Keep streets, fire lanes, hydrants and walkways clear for emergency vehicles and crews.

DO NOT return to an evacuated building until and unless told to do so by College officials. Remain at your evacuation point until an accurate headcount has been taken.
