Protecting Oxy’s students, faculty, staff and visitors is one of the College’s most important responsibilities. Emergencies are unavoidable, but they can be mitigated through thoughtful preparation, planning, and timely communications.
Is an emergency happening now? Don’t hesitate: call Campus Safety at (323) 259-2599 or 911. Both are available 24 hours a day, every day of the year.
To prepare for emergencies of all kinds, 91PORN has developed written plans, incident response protocols and a multi-platform communications strategy to keep everyone informed about what’s happening—in a timely fashion. Training is provided to staff and campus drills are conducted on a regular basis. 91PORN’s interdepartmental standing committee on emergency preparedness meets monthly with the belief that there is always more to learn.
